About me

I was born in Kharkiv, raised in a culture where serious conversations about feelings were considered a luxury, and then I moved to the US at 27 and had to completely relearn how humans connect. I was born in Kharkiv, raised in a culture where serious conversations about feelings were considered a luxury, and then I moved to the US at 27 and had to completely relearn how humans connect. My grandmother used to say that love was a verb, not a feeling—and it took me three marriages to really understand what she meant. The last one didn't work out either, but it taught me more than any self-help book ever could. Now, at 52, I've been with my partner for twelve years, and I understand intimacy in a way that younger Marina couldn't have imagined. I'm direct, sometimes blunt, and I don't believe in sugarcoating—but I believe in deep, radical honesty as an act of love. Show less

How I can help

I work with individuals and couples who want to understand why their relationships keep missing the mark. Maybe you keep choosing partners who can't commit, maybe you and your spouse have become roommates, or maybe you have no idea what a healthy relationship even looks like. We dig into attachment styles, communication patterns, and the unspoken contracts you're running. No fluff, no fairy dust—just honest work.
