A session is often 45 to 60 minutes. Some coaches quote an hourly rate. Some quote a flat session fee that is a bit shorter or longer. Ask before you pay.
A month of coaching is usually a package: four sessions, paid together, sometimes at a small discount to the single-session price. That is the number people mean when they ask how much a life coach costs per month.
A one-off call is useful if you want to test the fit. It is a poor way to change a habit. Most of the work happens between sessions.
